steve cooley is the LA county DA. he just had the swiss act on a 32 year old fugitive warrant and arrest roman polanski in switzerland on his way to the swiss film festival. this goes back to an event that took place at jack nicholsons house where a 13 year old girl was pimped out by her mother. now there is little commendable about what happened. however
the mother and daughter requested there be no prosecution
after evaluation by the california penal system, polanski was judged not to be a threat and not appropriate to be incarcerated
based on this the then da and polanski reached a formal agreement for probation.
an asst. da not on the case entered into illegal exparte communication with the judge telling how to violate the agreement because it would look bad in the press
the judge then violated the agreement
polanski then fled to france.
the girl, no longer a girl still is calling for him to be left alone
steve cooley, a typical showboating politician is now wasting scarce public dollars of a broke state for this?
i am voting for the other guy!

parade mag ran a story about the mom sometime last year. check it out, you may change your opinion. those who know her will only say what a class act she is....hard to imagine her pimping out her daughter.
Anonymous #1 is correct, Susie is an elegant lady, definitely a class act. She quit her career to shelter her daughter and moved to Hawaii.
I say good for Cooley.
